Louis-François Cartier

Louis Cartier was a French watchmaker and businessman. He is famous for his wristwatch designs and played a large role in the popularisation of wristwatches.

From early in the 20th century, the Cartier company, a family run business, delivered goldsmith’s work and jewellery to several courts in Europe.
