Easter holiday for children at the Amalienborg Museum

march 25th – april 1st children and their grown-ups can fill out their own personal book with inspiration from the life of King Frederik X, who is portrayed in the special exhibition ‘King Frederik X: King of Tomorrow’ here at the Amalienborg Museum.

What would you be if you were going to follow in your mother’s footsteps? What sort of music do you like to listen to? These are just some of the topics you will be invited to think about and decide as you walk round the exhibition with our special booklet for children. After visiting the exhibition, you can continue into the museum’s Garden Room, where you can write your own motto or create a self-portrait.

The children’s booklet is available in both Danish and English, and the activities are free when the admission has been paid for. As always, children and young adults under the age of 18 years have free admission to the Amalienborg Museum – please note that children and young adults will still need to get a ticket.
